My Favorite Wellness Products
As someone who considers herself to be “wellness obsessed”, I’ve tried a lot of wellness products over the last (almost) 15 years. Some that I like, some that aren’t that great, some that I have made part of my routine. Here are my favorite wellness products - the things I use every day (or almost every day) and can’t say enough good things about!
1) Athletic Greens. This is one of the newest additions to my wellness routine, but when I say it’s game changer, I’m not exaggerating! I resisted trying Athletic Greens for months because of the price point… at $80/month, it’s definitely one of the pricier supplements on the market. As someone who was already spending around $80-100/month on her supplement regime, it didn’t make sense for me to add AG on top of it. BUT, what I came to find out is that because AG is packed with sooooo many vitamins and nutrients, it could replace almost everything else I was taking. Not only that, it comes in a powder that mixes and dissolves into water so easily, and tastes pretty good, too. I prefer drinking AG every morning than taking a bunch of supplements throughout the day, so it’s safe to say that AG is staying in my routine. I also notice a boost in my energy levels after I drink it, so it’s a win/win!
2) Essential oil diffuser. If you don’t yet own an essential oil diffuser, adding one to your bedside table will change your life. Not only does a diffuser give your space a certain aesthetic/vibe while adding a nice smell to the air, essential oils can help with your mood and general mental state depending on the oils you’re using. Essential oils have many benefits, depending on what you’re looking for, but I primarily use my diffuser with oils that promote calm and relaxation. Vitruvi makes my favorite diffuser and Saje is my go-to for essential oils.
3) LMNT. Another drinkable favorite, LMNT electrolyte powders are, in my opinion, the best on the market. Not only are they sugar-free (unlike other competitors like Liquid IV and Arbonne) but their salty flavors realllyyyyyy hit the spot. LMNT is full of minerals such as sodium (which despite what you may have heard, is necessary for your body to function properly), magnesium (helps with sleep), and potassium (good for the muscles and blood pressure), and are sweetened with just a touch of stevia. They’re perfect for every day, post-workout, to add to your water while hiking, or to take with you on a long flight.
4) Acupressure mats. You’ve probably seen one of these before, but acupressure mats are essentially little pillows that have small, plastic spikes on them - you lay on them (typically on your back), and not only to do they help relieve back/neck pain/tension, but they have a variety of other benefits, as well, including: promoting blood circulation and oxygenation, releasing feel good endorphins, and improving the quality of your sleep. I love to use mine in the evening right before bed to help me get into a more relaxed state. They have lots of different options on Amazon.
What are some of your go-to products for wellness? What’s a product you’ve been wanting to try? I always love trying new things, so open to your suggestions and recommendations!
